Rich Dad Advisor Garrett Sutton, ESQ. goes over asset protection and the proper ways to do it in Start Your Own Corporation: Why the Rich Own Their Own Companies and Everyone Else Works for Them (Rich Dad Advisors)

It is a bit intense I have to admit though I am glad I listened to the audio book cause I did not know how much was really involved in asset protection with corporate entities. I thought it was just simple to start a corporation through the IRS and the state not knowing that to do it right and protecting the corporate vale there is alot to do and consider. Garrett Sutton, ESQ puts it in simple to understand terms and examples.

Don’t start your own business until you read this book!

Another book to check out after this is Run Your Own Corporation: How to Legally Operate and Properly Maintain Your Company Into the Future

Rich Dad’s Guide to Investing: What the Rich Invest in, That the Poor and the Middle Class Do Not!

Robert T. Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad’s Guide to Investing is a great continuation of the Rich Dad series giving you more of the mindset of investing then the how-tos to do so. After all as Robert often says you have to be before you can have and I will turly say that on my journey of reading these books it has really transformed my thinking into more of a true investor.

I recommend this series as a whole so much that I bought the original Rich Dad Poor Dad for a friend of mine so he too could read them and start to have a deeper and better understanding about money.

If you haven’t read this yet I recommend you get it and read it. However if you have already read it leave a comment and let me know what you think about it.

JavaScript: The Definitive Guide: Activate Your Web Pages (Definitive Guides)

JavaScript: The Definitive Guide: Activate Your Web Pages

This book was great!

For warning it is very long (something like over 1000 pages) though not including the function references the chapters come to about 750 pages.

It is very intuitive and in-depth with the language of JavaScript and even includes a complete chapter about jQuery which covers pretty much the entire jQuery library.

This is the book I would recommend most for getting nitty gritty with JavaScript. It has step-by-step examples and as I said a complete reference of the JavaScript functions and methods.

How to make prototypes (not to be confused with the Prototypejs Framework which uses JavaScripts prototypes to use JavaScript in a Object Oriented Programming way) and much, much more.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

Learning Perl, 5th Edition

Learning Perl, 5th Edition

After reading this book I have found it quite easy to start picking up the basics of Perl which as ugly as the language might be I am finding to be quite powerful. Of course if you already program in Perl then you already know this.

The book focus on the basics to get you started and has great footnotes. It is a rather small book which not including the Appendices is only about 240 pages. So if you are interested in learning Perl I do find this book to be a great place to start.

Can You Hear His Whisper

Can You Hear His WhisperCan You Hear His Whisper by Deborah Turley

For those of you that know me may or may not know that  my mother has published a book.

So I took a moment to read this little short story in doing so  I had found that it was actually quite good.

Now I know that many of you are probably thinking it is his mother of course he is going to say that and where to some degree it may be true. It was quite funny in many ways and not only was there some life stories which were fun to hear about it was one of the first christian books that I have read that just felt more real.

So as always check it out and let me know what you think.
